What is Waffle?
Waffle is a group journaling app designed for families, couples, and friends to stay in sync, get to know each other better, and provide emotional support when needed.
In today's busy world, we often focus on urgent matters rather than what's truly important. Team Waffle believes that close bonds and meaningful relationships are fundamental to good mental health.

Why is it called Waffle?
We wanted a name that symbolized bonding, warmth, and happy gatherings. We considered names like 'fireplace,' 'dining table,' and 'fam,' but none of them really clicked. While we were struggling to come up with a name, Taishi, one of the co-founders of Waffle, saw a joyful crowd of families and friends having fun while he was taking a walk in the park in San Jose, California. As he walked closer, he noticed a small waffle stand.
That was the perfect embodiment of the experience we wanted to create, so we named our app Waffle.

Do I have to pay to use Waffle?

We've made all the core shared journaling features available for free because we truly believe that journaling together with others matters to us and helps build deeper and stronger bonds, which are foundational to our emotional health.
You can enjoy an unlimited number of journals with unlimited members and entries for free.
We also offer additional features that you can choose to pay for. These are designed to dramatically enhance the shared journaling experience and are always recommended, but they are optional.

Can I remove someone from my journal?
Right now, we don't have a feature that lets you remove someone from your journal.
They own what they write, so if they need to go, they have to decide to leave on their own.
This rule is in place to make sure everyone feels secure about the entries they put time into writing, without fearing someone else might remove their contributions.

Can I use Waffle on my laptop?
Right now, we don't have support for laptops. But we know typing on a computer can be a lot easier.
We're introducing an "Email to Post" feature soon. With that, You'll be able to write your journal entries on your laptop, email them straight to your Waffle journal, and then everyone in your journal can read them in the app.

We're launching Waffle Books soon, so you'll be able to turn your journal into a beautifully formatted, high-quality book that we'll ship to you.
Until then, if you're using Waffle Plus, you have the option to export your journal as a PDF file and print it yourself to have a physical copy.

To cancel a subscription on your iOS device, follow these steps:

Tap your name at the top of the Settings menu to access your Apple ID and iCloud settings.
Tap "Subscriptions." If you don't see "Subscriptions," tap "iTunes & App Store" instead. Then tap your Apple ID, view Apple ID, sign in if required, scroll down to Subscriptions, and tap Subscriptions.
Find the subscription you want to cancel. You will see a list of all your active and expired subscriptions.
Tap the subscription that you want to manage.
Tap "Cancel Subscription." If you don’t see "Cancel Subscription," then the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.
