Helps us heal old wounds and rebuild our mother-daughter
Using waffle with :
My daughter
Who do you journal with, and how does Waffle fit into your daily routine?
I journal with my daughter. We both have super busy schedules, but we take time out of our busy weeks to just say a few things during the week. It may not be daily, but every other day or even twice a week.
How has Waffle positively impacted you or your journal members?
My daughter and I are opening up about deeper subject matter than the superficial stuff we usually gab about. We had a rift 6 years ago and we haven't been able to find ourselves fully back to where we were before the rift. We live on opposite coasts and this journaling is giving us both time to think about each other and it's also giving me an opportunity to share about my own relationship with my mother. Familial inheritance, if you will. We find ourselves opening up about painful events we have lived through in a safe space.
